There was a small surprise in Diedorf where tenth rankedLangen (5-7) beat 8th ranked Kangaroos (6-6) 92-76 on Saturday. Langen dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Kangaroos 's 24 and made 19-of-24 free shots (79.2 percent) during the game. Langen looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. American power forward Jacob Washington (203-1999, college: CSUDH) fired 20 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Niklas Pons chipped in 18 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals. Five Langen players scored in double figures. American-Jamaican guard Brian Dawson (188-1999, college: Regis Univ., agency: Origins Sports Group) produced 25 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists and point guard Jannik Westermeir (190-2002) added 13 points and 6 assists respectively for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Langen have a solid series of four victories in a row. Newly promoted Langen maintains tenth place with 5-7 record. Loser Kangaroos dropped to the seventh position with six games lost. They share it with Dresden and Speyer.
