The game between closely ranked teams ended with 6th ranked46ers ' (7-6) road loss to fifth ranked Artland Dragons (9-4) 100-107 on Saturday. Artland made 18-of-21 free shots (85.7 percent) during the game. They shot the lights out from three sinking 15 long-distance shots on high 51.7 percentage. Artland looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Giessen 46ers ' players. American-Syrian guard Amir Hinton (196-1997, college: Shaw) fired 33 points (!!!) for the winners. American forward Benjamin Burnham (202-2002, college: Virginia Tech) chipped in a double-double by scoring 16 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists. American guard Kyle Castlin (193-1996, college: Xavier) produced 35 points (!!!) and 8 rebounds (on 13-of-17 shooting from the field) and Canadian forward Abu Kigab (200-1998, college: Boise St., agency: Interperformances) added 17 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side. Four Giessen 46ers players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Artland moved-up to third place, which they share with Crailsheim and Bremerhaven. Loser 46ers keep the sixth position with six games lost. They share it with 5 other teams.
