There was a minor upset in Hamburg where 4th rankedChemCats (7-5) were defeated by seventh ranked Eimsbuetteler (6-6) 81-64 on Saturday. Eimsbuetteler looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Chemnitz 's players. Worth to mention a great performance of Paula Alvarez who helped to win the game recording 31 points and Jasmin Weyell who added 11 points and 8 assists during the contest. Eimsbuetteler's coach Sascha Leutloff used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. The best for the losing side was American forward Erin Stroberg (185-2000, college: Regis Univ.) with 17 points and 7 rebounds and Lilly Kuppers scored 9 points and 6 rebounds. Eimsbuetteler moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Rhoendorf. Loser ChemCats keeps the fourth position with five games lost. They share it with Bochum.
