Another exciting game was between fourth rankedHeidelberg and one of their biggest challengers Jena where Heidelberg (8-3) beat Jena (7-4) on the road 64-60 . It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Jena. BasCats forced 22 Jena turnovers. It was a good game for American guard Kelly Moten (173-1993, college: Emporia St.) who led her team to a victory with 22 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Anna-Lisa Wuckel contributed with 21 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. BasCats' coach Rene Spandauw allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. American forward Cianna Gloster (183-2002, college: Shawnee St.) replied with 19 points and 7 rebounds and Latvian center Marta Miscenko (194-1995, college: Wingate) added 9 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists in the effort for Jena. Heidelberg moved-up to second place. Jena at the other side keeps the third position with four games lost. They share it with Wuerzburg and Freiburg 2.
