There was a minor upset when 10th rankedEnBW Ludwigsburg (5-5) was defeated at home by thirteenth ranked Rasta Vechta (5-5) 86-80 on Monday. The game was dominated by American players. It was a great evening for guard Tevin Brown (195-1998, college: Murray St.) who led his team to a victory scoring 30 points and 9 rebounds. Guard Alonzo Verge Jr (190-1998, college: Nebraska, agency: Octagon Europe) helped adding 18 points. Guard Tray Buchanan (187-1998, college: Emporia St.) responded with 23 points and 5 rebounds and swingman Elijah Hughes (198-1998, college: Syracuse) scored 21 points. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Vechta moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Ludwigsburg and Rostock. Ludwigsburg lost their third game in a row.
