There was an upset when higher rankedMBC (7-5) lost to thirteenth ranked Chemnitz (6-6) in Weissenfels 90-94 on Friday. Chemnitz looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The winners were led by Amadou Sow who scored that evening 21 points and 9 rebounds and American point guard Corey Davis (186-1997, college: Houston) supported him with 18 points and 11 assists. Even 30 points by American point guard Charles Callison (185-1995, college: WSU, agency: Slash Sports) did not help to save the game for Weissenfels . His fellow American import swingman Khyri Thomas (190-1996, college: Creighton) added 24 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. MBC's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Chemnitz moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Frankfurt. Loser MBC dropped to the fifth position with five games lost. They share it with Ulm.
