Regular Season Round 15: Nuernberg - Giessen 46ers 64-74

There was a small surprise when tenth ranked46ers (8-7) beat 8th ranked Falcons (8-7) in Nuernberg 74-64 on Friday. Giessen 46ers looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was an exceptional evening for center Till Gloger (204-1993, college: Maine) who led the winners and scored 21 points (on 10-of-11 shooting from the field). American point guard Devon Goodman (184-1997, college: Pennsylvania) accounted for 10 points and 6 assists for the winning side. American forward Brandton Chatfield (208-2001, college: Iowa St.) came up with 25 points and 8 rebounds (on 11-of-13 shooting from the field) and the other American import guard Branden Maughmer (190-1999, college: Morehead St., agency: Helping Ballers) added 8 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Nuernberg in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Giessen 46ers moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Bochum and Nuernberg.
