The game between third rankedArtland Dragons (10-5) and fourth ranked Hakro Merlins Artland Dragons were defeated by Hakro Merlins in a tough game in Quakenbrueck 85-93 . It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Artland Dragons. Crailsheim made 21-of-23 free shots (91.3 percent) during the game. It was a good game for American guard Anthony Gaines (193-1998, college: Siena, agency: One Motive Sports) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists. Austrian Marvin Ogunsipe (203-1996) contributed with 13 points and 9 rebounds (went 9 for 9 at the free throw line !!!) for the winners. American-Syrian guard Amir Hinton (196-1997, college: Shaw) answered with 25 points and 7 rebounds and American point guard Buzz Anthony (180-1998, college: RMC) added 15 points and 8 assists in the effort for Artland. Five Crailsheim and four Artland players scored in double figures. Crailsheim moved-up to third place, which they share with Artland and Bremerhaven.
