There was no surprise when 10th rankedKoblenz (7-8) lost at home to sixth ranked Kirchheim Knights (9-6) 105-98 on Sunday. American players dominated the game. It was an exceptional evening for guard Chuck Harris (188-2001, college: SMU) who led the winners and scored 33 points (!!!). point guard Phillip Russell (178-1999, college: VCU) accounted for 18 points and 8 assists for the winning side. Guard Calvin Wishart (188-1999, college: UCSB) came up with 14 points and 6 assists and forward DJ Jeffries (201-1999, college: MSU) added 11 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Koblenz in the defeat. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Kirchheim Knights have an impressive series of six victories in a row. They maintain sixth place with 9-6 record. Loser Koblenz keeps the tenth position with eight games lost. They share it with Tuebingen.
