Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both eighth rankedEnBW Ludwigsburg and 9th ranked Bamberg had identical 7-6 record. But Bamberg was not able to use a home court advantage and was smashed by the opponent from Ludwigsburg 100-79 on Friday night. Ludwigsburg forced 24 Bamberg turnovers and had a 20-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was an exceptional evening for American guard Tray Buchanan (187-1998, college: Emporia St.) who led the winners and scored 24 points. His fellow American import swingman Elijah Hughes (198-1998, college: Syracuse) accounted for 17 points for the winning side. Five EnBW Ludwigsburg players scored in double figures. American swingman Demarcus Demonia (201-1999, college: ETAMU) came up with 25 points and 8 rebounds and forward Moritz Krimmer (202-2000) added 12 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Bamberg in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Ludwigsburg (8-6) moved-up to seventh place. Loser Bamberg dropped to the tenth position with seven games lost.
