There was a surprise result when ninth rankedKangaroos (7-8) crushed on the road higher ranked Fellbach (8-7) 88-51 on Saturday. Leitershofen outrebounded Fellbach 33-22 including 24 on the defensive glass. Leitershofen looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists comparing to just 16 passes made by Fellbach 's players. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Leitershofen made 8 blocks. The winners were led by American guard Zion Richardson (193-2001, college: CS Fullerton) who scored that evening 36 points (!!!) and 5 rebounds (on 13-of-15 shooting from the field) and Clint Hamann (211-2004) supported him with 13 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 blocks. Even 19 points and 5 rebounds by Brian Butler (196-1991) did not help to save the game for Fellbach . point guard Travis Davis (170-2006) added 7 points and 4 assists for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Leitershofen moved-up to sixth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Loser Fellbach keeps the fifth position with seven games lost. They share it with Speyer and Oberhaching.
