Not a big story in a game when 18th rankedMuenster (4-13) was defeated at home by ninth ranked Falcons (9-8) 86-75 on Saturday. Nuernberg dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Muenster 's 24. Nuernberg looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. American forward Trevor Baskin (206-2002, college: Colorado) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 11 rebounds for the winners and Julius Wolf (205-1993) chipped in 15 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Four Falcons players scored in double figures. Falcons' coach Ralph Junge used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Paul Viefhues (196-2005) responded with 22 points and American guard Julian Larry (190, college: Texas) scored 12 points, 5 assists and 4 steals. Nuernberg moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Giessen 46ers and Koblenz. Muenster lost third consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with 13 games lost. They share it with Leverkusen.
