Not a big story in a game when 18th rankedMLP Academics Heidelberg (2-13) was outscored on the road by sixth ranked ALBA Berlin (9-5) 87-62 on Sunday. It was an exceptional evening for international point guard Jack Kayil (191-2006) who led the winners and scored 19 points. International Malte Delow (197-2001) accounted for 10 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side. Four ALBA Berlin players scored in double figures. American forward Ryan Mikesell (201-1996, college: Dayton, agency: Slash Sports) came up with 15 points and 6 rebounds and the other American import power forward Osun Osunniyi (208-1998, college: Iowa St.) added 10 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Heidelberg in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. ALBA moved-up to third place, which they share with Trier. Heidelberg lost their sixth game in a row. They stay at the bottom position with 13 games lost.
