The game in Giessen was also quite interesting. Fifth rankedArtland Dragons (12-6) played at the court of 7th ranked 46ers (9-9). Artland Dragons managed to secure a 8-point victory 87-79 on Thursday. Artland made 18-of-21 free shots (85.7 percent) during the game. American forward Benjamin Burnham (202-2002, college: Virginia Tech) notched a double-double by scoring 31 points and 11 rebounds (on 13-of-17 shooting from the field) to lead the effort and American-Syrian guard Amir Hinton (196-1997, college: Shaw, agency: Diamond Sports) supported him with 19 points (went 12 for 12 at the free throw line !!!). Even a double-double of 17 points and 10 rebounds by American guard Kyle Castlin (193-1996, college: Xavier) did not help to save the game for Giessen 46ers . Center Till Gloger (204-1993, college: Maine) added 14 points and 8 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Artland moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Bremerhaven. Loser 46ers dropped to the eighth position with nine games lost. They share it with Bochum and Koblenz.
