The most exciting game of round 16 in the BBL took place in Ludwigsburg. This derby game ended with only one-point home defeat of 7th rankedEnBW Ludwigsburg (8-7) to sixth ranked Telekom Baskets (10-7) 86-85 on Saturday evening. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of EnBW Ludwigsburg. Bonn forced 20 Ludwigsburg turnovers. 26 personal fouls committed by Ludwigsburg helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Alijah Comithier (201-2001, college: Emporia St.) who helped to win the game recording 23 points and the other American import guard Grayson Murphy (187-1999, college: Belmont) who added 14 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Four Telekom Baskets players scored in double figures. At the losing side Jamaican-Canadian guard Stefan Smith (187-1999, college: St.John's, agency: Players Group) responded with 28 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and American guard Tray Buchanan (187-1998, college: Emporia St.) scored 20 points. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Bonn moved-up to fifth place. Ludwigsburg at the other side dropped to the eighth position with seven games lost. They share it with Bamberg.
