No shocking result in a game when ninth ranked Aschersleben (7-10) won against at home 14th ranked Lichterfelde (5-11) 105-90 on Sunday. The best player for the winners was Dutch guard Joryam Saizonou (190-2002, college: UNCG) who scored 25 points and 5 assists. point guard Bompona Bonga (189-2005) chipped in 17 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Guard Fabius Berner (190-1999) produced 22 points and Amani Ogette (201-1998) added 18 points respectively for the guests. Five Aschersleben and four Lichterfelde players scored in double figures. Aschersleben moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Wolfenbuettel. Lichterfelde lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the tenth position with 11 games lost. They share it with Karlsruhe PS 2. Aschersleben will meet higher ranked Bramsche (#5) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
