There was no surprise in Vechta where 6th rankedRASTA Ac. (4-5) was crushed by second ranked Oldenburg (8-2) 80-56 on Sunday. Oldenburg outrebounded RASTA Ac. 47-31 including a 47-31 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great evening for guard Luca Mevius (193-2007) who led his team to a victory scoring 18 points and 7 rebounds. Johnell Katatumba helped adding 11 points and 7 rebounds. point guard Epke Kruthaup (187-2008) responded with 11 points and 4 assists and point guard Moritz Gruess (187-2008) scored 5 points and 7 rebounds. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Oldenburg have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Bayern and Urspring. Loser RASTA Ac. dropped to the fourth place with five games lost. They share the position with Frankfurt.
