Rather expected game in Karlsruhe where 11th rankedLions (8-11) were crushed by ninth ranked 46ers (10-9) 89-66 . Giessen 46ers made 20-of-24 charity shots (83.3 percent) during the game. Karlsruhe PS was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. It was an exceptional evening for Slovakian point guard Simon Krajcovic (188-1994, college: LMU) who led the winners and scored 24 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). The former international forward Robin Benzing (208-1989) accounted for 12 points for the winning side. American forward David Ejah (201-2000, college: Indianapolis, agency: Players Group) came up with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds and center Maurice Pluskota (209-1992) added 7 points and 8 rebounds respectively for Karlsruhe PS in the defeat. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Giessen 46ers moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Bochum and Nuernberg. Karlsruhe PS at the other side keeps the eleventh position with 11 games lost. They share it with Koeln.
