Rather expected game when 8th rankedRostock (1-11) was smashed at home by sixth ranked RASTA Ac. (5-5) 125-77 on Sunday. RASTA Ac. shot 61.6 percent from the field. They also forced 28 Rostock turnovers. They shot the lights out from three sinking 20 long-distance shots on high 52.6 percentage. RASTA Ac. looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The winners were led by point guard Epke Kruthaup (187-2008) who scored that evening 34 points (!!!), 5 rebounds, 7 assists and 7 steals (on 12-of-13 shooting from the field) and point guard Moritz Gruess (187-2008) supported him with 23 points. Four RASTA Ac. players scored in double figures. Even 14 points and 6 assists by point guard Jussi Knorr (186-2007) did not help to save the game for Rostock . Guard Gustav Kringel (195-2007) added 11 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. RASTA Ac. moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Frankfurt. Rostock lost third consecutive game. They keep the eighth position with 11 games lost.
