Very expected game when 12th rankedKangaroos (6-13) were edged on the road by sixth ranked Westerstede (10-8) 90-88 on Saturday. However just two-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Westerstede made 21-of-26 free shots (80.8 percent) during the game. They also forced 20 Iserlohn turnovers. It was a great evening for Swedish guard Beni Fungula (193-1999, college: MSUB, agency: BIG) who led his team to a victory scoring 36 points (!!!) and 7 rebounds. American point guard Jonil Fugett (183-1999, college: UCCS, agency: BIG) helped adding 20 points, 8 assists and 4 steals. Westerstede's coach Artur Gacaev used entire bench in such tough game. At the losing side Christopher Schultz (194-2003) responded with 19 points and 8 rebounds and naturalized Czech Daniel Zacek (182-2001) scored 23 points. Four Westerstede and five Iserlohn players scored in double figures. Westerstede have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Iserlohn lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the thirteenth position with 13 games lost.
