Regular Season Round 19: Neustadt TSV - Rostock Acad. 99-98

The most exciting game of round 19 in the ProB took place in Neustadt. This derby game ended with only one-point defeat on the road of 7th rankedSeawolves Academy (9-10) to eighth ranked Neustadt TSV (9-9) 99-98 in the game for the seventh place. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Seawolves Academy. Neustadt TSV outrebounded Rostock Acad. 48-32 including 19 on the offensive glass. Neustadt TSV looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. Croatian Matej Jelovcic (185-1998) fired a double-double by scoring 35 points (!!!), 10 rebounds and 9 assists for the winners. Aime Olma (193-2004) chipped in 10 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists. Neustadt TSV's coach Allan Ray used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. American guard Jalen Page (193-2002, college: Trevecca) produced 38 points (!!!), 6 rebounds and 7 assists and guard Svante Schmundt (188-2001) added 13 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for lost side. Four Neustadt TSV and five Rostock Acad. players scored in double figures. Neustadt TSV moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Fellbach. Rostock Acad. at the other side dropped to the eighth position with ten games lost.
