There was a surprise result in Rostock where ninth rankedSeawolves (10-8) edged higher ranked s Oliver Baskets (11-8) 77-74 on Sunday. Belgian power forward Andy Van Vliet (213-1995, college: William & Mary) fired 22 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. The former international point guard Elias Baggette (181-2002) chipped in 13 points and 5 assists. Four Seawolves players scored in double figures. Seawolves' coach Przemyslaw Frasunkiewicz used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. Canadian guard Marcus Carr (188-1999, college: Texas) produced 19 points and 5 rebounds and American guard Davion Mintz (191-1998, college: Kentucky, agency: Octagon Europe) added 18 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. Rostock moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Ludwigsburg. Wuerzburg lost their fourth game in a row. They keep the fifth position with eight games lost. They share it with Ulm and Bamberg. Rostock will meet Weissenfels (#14) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Wuerzburg will play against Heidelberg (#17) and hope to secure a win.
