The most interesting game of round 22 in the ProA was a home defeat of 8th rankedNuernberg (11-11) to sixth ranked Kirchheim (12-10) 88-82 . Kirchheim Knights outrebounded Falcons 40-24 including a 19-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. American forward Tylan Pope (198-2001, college: Texas St.) had a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and center Nicolas Bretzel (213-1999) chipped in 19 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side American guard Carter Whitt (190-2002, college: Belmont) responded with 12 points, 9 assists and 4 steals and Lars Lagerpusch (207-1998) scored 16 points and 6 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Kirchheim maintains sixth position with 12-10 record, which they share with Bochum. Nuernberg at the other side keeps the eighth place with 11 games lost. They share the position with Giessen 46ers.
