There was a small surprise when twelfth rankedLich (6-14) smashed at home 10th ranked Lions-2 (6-14) 100-80 on Saturday. Lich outrebounded Karlsruhe PS 2 41-23 including a 33-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. Lich looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. The best player for the winners was American guard Jonas Harper (189-1999, college: Boston U.) who scored 37 points (!!!). The former international Johannes Lischka (203-1987) chipped in a double-double by scoring 18 points, 19 rebounds and 6 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was point guard Fred Moysich (172-2006) who recorded 24 points and American point guard Jamyus Jones (183, college: Lindsey Wilson) added 12 points and 5 rebounds respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Lich moved-up to tenth place, which they share with 3 other teams including defeated Karlsruhe PS 2 . Karlsruhe PS 2 lost their third game in a row.
