There was a surprise result in Trier where twelfth rankedChemnitz (9-11) won against higher ranked Gladiators (12-8) 105-100 on Sunday. Chemnitz dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Gladiators 's 38 and made 19-of-25 free shots (76.0 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of Bulgarian forward Yordan Minchev (202-1998) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and 9 rebounds and American point guard Corey Davis (186-1997, college: Houston) who added 18 points during the contest. American point guard Jordan Roland (185-1997, college: Northeastern, agency: Diamond Sports) responded with 22 points and his fellow American import guard Clay Guillozet (193-1997, college: Valdosta St.) scored 17 points and 4 assists (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line). Five Chemnitz and four Trier players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Chemnitz moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with Frankfurt. Newly promoted Trier keeps the fourth position with eight games lost. They share it with Wuerzburg.
