Not a big story in a game when 18th rankedMLP Academics Heidelberg (5-16) was edged on the road by tenth ranked Chemnitz (10-11) 99-96 on Wednesday. However just three-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Bulgarian forward Yordan Minchev (202-1998) nailed a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds for the winning side and American point guard Corey Davis (186-1997, college: Houston) accounted for 17 points and 6 assists. Center Marcel Kessen (207-1997, agency: LUMANI 10.7) came up with 26 points and 9 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) and naturalized Croatian Mateo Seric (204-1999) added 15 points and 9 rebounds respectively for Heidelberg in the defeat. Five Chemnitz and four Heidelberg players scored in double figures. MLP Academics Heidelberg's coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Chemnitz have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain tenth place with 10-11 record. Heidelberg lost third consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with 16 games lost. They share it with Braunschweig.
