Rather predictable result when seventh ranked46ers (13-11) won against 9th ranked Falcons (11-13) in Giessen 90-81 on Saturday. The winners were led by American guard Kyle Castlin (193-1996, college: Xavier) who scored that evening 17 points and 8 rebounds and Serbian forward Viktor Kovacevic (203-1999, college: West Liberty, agency: Octagon Europe) supported him with 14 points and 7 rebounds. Four 46ers players scored in double figures. 46ers' coach Branislav Ignjatovic used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even a double-double of 17 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists by American forward Trevor Baskin (206-2002, college: Colorado) did not help to save the game for Nuernberg . point guard Vincent Friederici (190-2001, agency: LHZ Sport Agency) added 13 points and 4 assists. 46ers have a solid three-game winning streak.
