There was an upset when higher rankedSchwelm (12-10) lost at home to ninth ranked Rist Wedel (11-10) 101-95 on Saturday. Rist Wedel made 31-of-41 free shots (75.6 percent) during the game. Point guard Janne Mueller (193-2006) notched 27 points to lead the effort and Al-Fayed Alegbe-Issifou (194-2004) supported him with 19 points. Even a double-double of 12 points and 10 assists by point guard Marius Stoll (197-1999) did not help to save the game for Schwelm . Luka Zajic (195-2004) added 17 points and 5 rebounds for lost side. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Rist Wedel moved-up to sixth place, which they share with FC Bayern 2. Loser Schwelm keeps the fifth position with ten games lost. They share it with H.Loewen.
