Everything went according to plan when eighth ranked Aschersleben (11-13) beat at home 12th ranked Goetting.ASC (7-16) 86-82 on Saturday. However just four-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Aschersleben outrebounded Goetting.ASC 51-35 including a 37-23 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was American center Matthew Lane (216-2002, college: Molloy) who had a double-double by scoring 14 points and 21 rebounds. point guard Ben Koehler (184-2004) chipped in 22 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists.
