There was a minor upset when 8th rankedNeustadt TSV (10-12) was defeated at home by eleventh ranked Kangaroos (9-14) 83-72 on Saturday. Iserlohn made 22-of-22 free shots (100 percent !!!) during the game. The best player for the winners was Christopher Schultz (194-2003) who had a double-double by scoring 21 points and 11 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). American guard Trey Hubbard (190-2002, college: C-N, agency: Origins Sports Group) chipped in 18 points and 6 assists. Four Kangaroos players scored in double figures. Croatian Matej Jelovcic (185-1998) produced a double-double by scoring 19 points and 14 rebounds and Aime Olma (193-2004) added 15 points and 7 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Iserlohn moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Rhoendorf and BSW Sixers. Neustadt TSV lost their third game in a row. They dropped to the ninth position with 12 games lost.
