There was a surprise result when eleventh rankedChemnitz (10-13) beat higher ranked Seawolves (13-9) in Rostock 78-73 on Sunday. The winners were led by American point guard Corey Davis (186-1997, college: Houston) who scored that evening 23 points and 4 assists and Maltese-American point guard Eric Washington (183-1993, college: Miami, OH) supported him with 18 points and 5 rebounds. Even 20 points and 7 rebounds by American forward DShawn Schwartz (199-1999, college: GMU) did not help to save the game for Rostock . His fellow American import guard TJ Crockett (187-1999, college: Lindenwood) added 19 points. Seawolves' coach let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Chemnitz maintains eleventh position with 10-13 record. Loser Seawolves keeps the seventh place with nine games lost.
