A very close game took place in Heidelberg betweenMLP Academics Heidelberg and ratiopharm Ulm . Seventeenth ranked MLP Academics Heidelberg (7-19) got a very close home victory over higher ranked ratiopharm Ulm (15-10). MLP Academics Heidelberg managed to escape with a 3-point win 93-90 on Sunday evening. It was quite big embarassment for the guest team. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of ratiopharm Ulm. Five MLP Academics Heidelberg players scored in double figures. Danish Tobias Jensen (198-2004) responded with 16 points and 9 assists and Ghanian-American Christopher Ledlum (198-2001, college: St.John's) scored 22 points. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Heidelberg maintains seventeenth position with 7-19 record. Loser ratiopharm Ulm keeps the fifth place with ten games lost. They share the position with Wuerzburg.
