Not a big story in a game when 18th rankedBraunschweig (5-20) was outplayed at home by second ranked ALBA Berlin (19-7) 94-73 on Sunday. ALBA looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. American forward Justin Bean (201-1996, college: Utah St.) scored 16 points and 6 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and international Malte Delow (197-2001) chipped in 19 points during the contest. Dutch forward David NGuessan (206-2000, college: Kansas St.) responded with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds and Canadian point guard Kaza Kajami-Keane (185-1994, college: Carleton) scored 12 points and 6 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. ALBA maintains second position with 19-7 record behind leader Bayern. Braunschweig lost fifth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom place with 20 games lost.
