Important game to mention about took place in Berlin. Fourteenth rankedEWE Baskets (12-16) saved a 2-point victory on the road edging second-ranked ALBA Berlin (19-8) 81-79 on Sunday evening. It was quite big embarassment for the home team. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of ALBA Berlin. American guard Brian Fobbs (196-1998, college: Towson) nailed 25 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side and American-Central African point guard Chris Clemons (175-1997, college: Campbell, agency: JCK Sports Group) accounted for 20 points and 7 assists. International point guard Jack Kayil (191-2006) came up with 15 points and American swingman Alex OConnell (198-1999, college: Creighton) added 12 points respectively for ALBA in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. ALBA Berlin's coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total twelve players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Oldenburg moved-up to thirteenth place, which they share with Frankfurt. ALBA at the other side keeps the second position with eight games lost.
