There was a minor upset in Trier where 6th rankedEnBW Ludwigsburg (15-12) was defeated by eighth ranked Gladiators (16-12) 92-76 on Monday. Trier dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to EnBW Ludwigsburg 's 32 and made 17-of-19 free shots (89.5 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Ludwigsburg 44-30 including a 32-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was the former international center Maik Zirbes (208-1990) who scored 18 points and 5 rebounds.
