Regular Season Round 25: Chemnitz - Huerther BC 87-75

Bottom-rankedHuerther BC (0-23) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 87-75 loss to sixth ranked ChemCats (13-11) in Chemnitz on Saturday evening. At the losing side Greta Mengelkamp (173-2001) responded with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 12 steals and Luxembourg Zoe Braun (171-2003) scored 13 points and 6 rebounds. Four Huerther BC players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Chemnitz maintains sixth place with 13-11 record. Huerther BC lost their twenty third game in a row. They still close the standings with 23 games lost.
