Visiting BG Goettingen was edged by Falcons in a tough game in Nuernberg 69-70 . It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of BG Goettingen. Nuernberg made 17-of-19 charity shots (89.5 percent) during the game. American guard Evan Taylor (196-1996, college: Nebraska) saved the victory by scoring 11 points and 6 rebounds. The other American import forward Brandton Chatfield (208-2001, college: Iowa St.) contributed with 11 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Four Falcons players scored in double figures. Falcons' coach Ralph Junge allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. American forward Wesley Dreamer (201-2000, college: NW Missouri St.) replied with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 12 rebounds and center Hendrik Drescher (204-2000) added 17 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Goettingen. Nuernberg moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Bochum and Koeln. Goettingen at the other side keeps the third position with ten games lost.
