No shocking result in a game in Rostock where tenth rankedSeawolves (15-17) defeated 16th ranked Science City Jena (11-21) 89-79 on Saturday. Rostock looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The game was dominated by American players. Forward Kassim Nicholson (200-1999, college: Tennessee St.) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds for the winners and guard DeAndre Lansdowne (188-1989, college: Fort Lewis) chipped in 10 points and 8 assists. Five Seawolves players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was swingman Joe Wieskamp (198-1999, college: Iowa) with 32 points and 7 rebounds and guard Keith Braxton (196-1997, college: SFU) scored 15 points and 6 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Rostock maintains tenth place with 15-17 record, which they share with Oldenburg and Chemnitz. Newly promoted Jena keeps the sixteenth position with 21 games lost.
