Regular Season Round 12: Szedeak - KTE-Duna 86-77

The game between closely ranked teams ended with 10th ranked KTE-Duna's (6-6) road loss to ninth ranked Szedeak (6-6) 77-86 on Wednesday. The game without a history. Szedeak led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 21-of-23 free shots (91.3 percent) during the game. KTE-Duna was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was Bulgarian Ivan Lilov (194-88, agency: Two Points) who scored 33 points (!!!) and 8 rebounds. Serbian center Nenad Sulovic (202-85, agency: BeoBasket) chipped in 22 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line). At the other side the best for losing team was naturalized Serbian forward Tomislav Ivosev (204-90, agency: 011 Sports) who recorded 17 points and 7 rebounds and Montenegrin point guard Milutin Djukanovic (190-91) added 14 points and 4 assists respectively. Five KTE-Duna players scored in double figures. KTE-Duna's coach Gabor Forray let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Szedeak moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Szolnok and KTE-Duna. Szedeak will face higher ranked Kaposvari (#5) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
