Alba made 21-of-27 free shots (77.8 percent) during the game. Alba outrebounded Sopron KC 33-22 including 23 on the defensive glass. Alba looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. 26 personal fouls committed by Sopron KC helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American forward Isaiah Bigelow (201-2000, college: Richmond) orchestrated the victory by scoring 17 points and 6 rebounds. Serbian point guard Strahinja Jovanovic (185-1996) contributed with 13 points and 7 assists for the winners. Five Alba players scored in double figures. Alba's coach Oliver Vidin used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American center Joshua Patton (203-1997, college: Sacramento St.) replied with 33 points (!!!), 8 rebounds and 4 assists (on 12-of-15 shooting from the field) and his fellow American import point guard Josh Thompson (183-1996, college: Ball St.) added 25 points and 4 assists in the effort for Sopron KC.
