The most surprising game was another loss of top-rankedJurbarkas (9-3) in Sakiai on Tuesday night. Visitors were defeated by fifth ranked Vytis (7-4) 89-82 . Vytis made 19-of-24 free shots (79.2 percent) during the game. 26 personal fouls committed by Jurbarkas helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a great evening for Augustinas Mikstas (203-2001, agency: Octagon Europe) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 30 points and 12 rebounds. Point guard Deividas Kumelis (188-1995) helped adding 15 points and 5 assists. Vytis' coach Erikas Kuciauskas used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Power forward Karolis Guscikas (206-1992, agency: BIG) responded with 21 points (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field) and swingman Gintautas Matulis (196-1986) scored 14 points and 8 rebounds. Vytis have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain fifth place with 7-4 record, which they share with Omega-Tauras and Vilkaviskis. Jurbarkas at the other side still keeps top position with three games lost.
