Regular Season Round 14: Suduva-Mantinga - Stekas 72-67

Everything went according to plan in Marijampole where fifth ranked Suduva-Mantinga (9-4) beat 11th ranked Stekas (6-8) 72-67 on Saturday. However just five-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. The best player for the winners was guard Vytautas Sulskis (201-1988, college: YSU, agency: BIG) who scored 16 points and 6 rebounds. Guard Domantas Vilys (188-2000) chipped in 13 points and 5 assists. Five Suduva-Mantinga players scored in double figures. Point guard Paulius Semaska (184-1993) produced 19 points and 7 assists and swingman Kostas Jonuska (197-1992) added 16 points respectively for the guests. Suduva-Mantinga moved-up to fourth place. Stekas at the other side dropped to the tenth position with eight games lost. They share it with Rytas 2. Suduva-Mantinga will meet at home Kretinga (#13) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Stekas will play against Omega-Tauras and hope to secure a win.
