Regular Season Round 14: Siauliai - Juventus 98-100

The most exciting game of round 14 in the LKL took place in Siauliai. This derby game ended with only two-point home defeat of 8th rankedSiauliai (5-8) to sixth ranked Juventus (7-7) 100-98 on Saturday evening. Juventus made 31-of-38 free shots (81.6 percent) during the game. It was a great shooting night for Juventus especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 57.9 percentage. 30 personal fouls committed by Siauliai helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American point guard Tookie Brown (180-1995, college: Georgia South) had a double-double by scoring 21 points and 12 assists to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import forward Dominic Green (198-1997, college: Washington) chipped in 26 points (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) during the contest. Juventus' coach Vytautas Buzas used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. American Gerry Blakes (193-1993, college: Arizona St., agency: BIG) responded with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 12 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals and forward Tauras Jogela (203-1993, agency: Players Group) scored 20 points and 5 rebounds. Four Juventus and five Siauliai players scored in double figures. Juventus moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Jonava. Siauliai at the other side keeps the eighth position with eight games lost.
