Regular Season Round 15: Saule - KKM I 90-88

Very important is a road loss of third ranked KKM I (9-5) against ninth ranked Saule (5-7) on Wednesday night. Visiting KKM I was edged by Saule in a tough game in Siauliai 88-90. It was a good game for Erik Novikov (-2007) who led his team to a victory with 21 points and 6 assists. Gustas Dembinskis (-2007) contributed with 8 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Justas Sadauskas (-2007) answered with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 15 rebounds and Neilas Vitkauskas added 13 points, 11 rebounds and 7 assists in the effort for KKM I. Four KKM I players scored in double figures. Saule moved-up to eighth place. KKM I at the other side dropped to the fourth position with five games lost. Saule will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. KKM I will play at home against Perkunas (#10) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
