Very expected game when 14th rankedKretinga (9-21) was edged on the road by sixth ranked Vilkaviskis (19-11) 89-87 on Saturday. However just two-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Vilkaviskis forced 19 Kretinga turnovers. Strangely Kretinga outrebounded Vilkaviskis 39-25 including 29 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The best player for the winners was swingman Nojus Vaivada (195-2004) who scored 18 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Point guard Mantvydas Zukauskas (192-1998) chipped in 16 points and 5 assists.
