Everything could happen in Vilnius at the game between two tied teams. Both tenth rankedStekas and 9th ranked Neptunas-Akv. had identical 16-17 record. This time Stekas used a home court advantage and defeated the opponent from Klaipeda 84-77 on Thursday night. Stekas looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international forward Darius Tarvydas (199-1991) who helped to win the game recording 15 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists and Mantas Serksnas (200-1996, agency: Octagon Europe) who added 17 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. Four Stekas players scored in double figures. Stekas' coach Justas Sinica used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side Klaidas Metrikis (204-2000) responded with 25 points and 5 rebounds (made all of his seven free throws) and guard Radvilas Kneizys (193-2003, college: Panola JC) scored 18 points and 6 rebounds. Stekas have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to ninth place. Loser Neptunas-Akv. dropped to the tenth position with 18 games lost. They share it with Rytas 2.
