Regular Season Round 22: VKM - SKM I 88-76

Another interesting game was again a derby between two teams from Vilniaus:VKM (#1) and SKM I (#3). VKM (17-3) won against visiting SKM I (13-5) 88-76 . It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of SKM I. The game without a history. VKM led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. Point guard Jonas Skramtai (192-2007) scored 24 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists to lead the charge for the winners and forward Armandas Bukelskis (195-2008) chipped in 17 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Four VKM players scored in double figures. At the losing side forward Matas Deniusas (200-2007) responded with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 14 rebounds and 4 blocks and guard Karolis Eigminas (186-2007) scored 19 points and 6 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. VKM maintains first position with 17-3 record. SKM I at the other side keeps the third place with five games lost. They share the position with Tornado KM.
