Regular Season Round 3: Vytis - Stekas 81-66

No shocking result in a game in Sakiai where Vytis (2-0) defeated Stekas (0-2) 81-66 on Thursday. Vytis outrebounded Stekas 39-28 including 28 on the defensive glass. It was a great evening for point guard Titas Janusevicius (188-2001) who led his team to a victory scoring 16 points and 6 rebounds. Center Augustinas Mikstas (203-2001) helped adding 13 points and 6 rebounds. The best for the losing side was forward Karolis Brusokas (202-1991) with 12 points and 8 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) and scored 12 points. Five Vytis and four Stekas players scored in double figures. Stekas' coach tested eleven players and allowed the starting five to rest. Vytis will meet Rytas 2 (#11) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Stekas will play against Neptunas-Akv. (#9) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
