Everything went according to plan when ninth rankedNeptunas-Akv. (2-2) outplayed bottom-ranked Stekas (0-3) in Vilnius 91-70 on Saturday. Neptunas-Akv. made 16-of-19 free shots (84.2 percent) during the game. Neptunas-Akv. outrebounded Stekas 43-31 including 28 on the defensive glass. The winners were led by who scored that evening 17 points and Klaidas Metrikis (204-2000) supported him with 15 points and 7 rebounds. Even 25 points and 5 assists (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) by American point guard Rahsaan Edwards (183, college: Florida Tech) did not help to save the game for Stekas . Robert Subotkevic (203-1998) added 13 points and 8 rebounds for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Neptunas-Akv. moved-up to seventh place, which they share with 3 other teams. Loser Stekas still closes the standings with three games lost.
