Alytus ' fans can celebrate the first win of their team after three consecutive losses. The victory is especially important as they defeated much higher ranked Suduva-Mantinga (1-1) 75-69 on Saturday. Alytus forced 19 Suduva-Mantinga turnovers. The winners were led by American point guard Robert Waters-Johnson (185-1994, college: Wayland Baptist) who scored that evening 18 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists and Ukrainian power forward Dmytro Tykhonov (207-1992, agency: BIG) supported him with 19 points and 7 rebounds. Even 17 points and 5 rebounds by did not help to save the game for Suduva-Mantinga . Zygimantas Simonis (194-1995) added 8 points and 6 assists for lost side. Four Suduva-Mantinga players scored in double figures. Alytus (1-3) left bottom position moving up to thirteenth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Loser Suduva-Mantinga dropped to the eleventh position with one game lost.
